What did the HydroCurc® exercise study find?
In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 28 trained men, a HydroCurc® drink taken before and after exhausting lower-body resistance exercise led to lower muscle pain at 48 and 72 hours, lower post-exercise lactate (7.4 vs 8.8 mmol/L), higher anti-inflammatory IL-10 at 24 hours, less thigh swelling, and better-maintained power in the final set. The researchers concluded HydroCurc® may allow a quicker return to training or a higher training intensity.

1. Boswellia serrata extract 1,800 mg (65% boswellic acids)
Boswellia serrata, or Indian frankincense, is a tree resin used for centuries in traditional medicine. Its active compounds, the boswellic acids — including AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid) — inhibit 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), the enzyme that produces leukotrienes, a family of inflammatory messengers. That is a different pathway from the COX enzymes targeted by common painkillers, which is why boswellia pairs so well with curcumin. A 2020 meta-analysis of seven randomised trials (545 participants) found boswellia improved joint comfort, stiffness and physical function.

3. Bromelain 450 mg (pineapple enzyme)
Bromelain is a group of protein-digesting (proteolytic) enzymes from the pineapple stem. Unusually for an enzyme, part of it is absorbed intact, where it helps break down and clear the protein by-products of tissue stress and supports healthy fluid balance in tissues. In a randomised trial in competitive cyclists, bromelain during a six-day stage race reduced feelings of fatigue.

4. Papain 300 mg (papaya enzyme)

How do I take Relief Herbal?
2 Vcaps a day
Take 1 Vcap with a meal, twice a day. Ideal during high-volume training blocks, for everyday joint comfort and to support recovery between sessions.
6 Vcaps a day (max. 6 days)
After a race, a hard knock or an especially demanding period, take 2 Vcaps three times a day with meals, for a maximum of 6 days, then return to 2 Vcaps a day.
Who should check with a doctor first?
Relief Herbal is made from natural ingredients, but natural actives are still active. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
